Mahabhoj, released on Jestha 30 is already facing a major setback at the box office. Just three days into its release, shows are being cancelled in several theatres due to zero audience turnout.

The film, directed by Dinesh Raut, stars top actors like Aryan Sigdel, Khagendra Lamichhane, Dayahang Rai and more. Despite being a multi-starrer project, the response has been unexpectedly poor.

This situation reminds many of Ke Ghar Ke Dera 2, which also featured Aryan Sigdel and Khagendra Lamichhane and failed to attract viewers.

The repeated failure of star-studded films raises a serious question — are big names no longer enough? Are audiences now looking for stronger stories and fresh ideas instead of just famous faces?

The coming days will show if Mahabhoj can pick up momentum or face the same fate as other recent flops.
