While the makers haven’t officially confirmed a sequel, the ending of Laaj Saranam strongly hints that the story will continue. The film, packed with suspense and comedy, introduces a new character at the very end—none other than Kumar Kattel aka Jigri, famous from the hit TV series Sakkigoni. His surprise entry adds a layer of suspense, making the possibility of a sequel even more exciting.
The film follows a gripping storyline that begins with a gold smuggling case and gradually shifts to the struggles of Sandesh (played by Mahesh Tripathi), a father from Karnali whose son falls sick. With no proper healthcare in his village, Sandesh gets entangled in a crime, leading to an intense and emotional journey.
With a cast featuring Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus), Sagar Lamsal (Bale), Arjun Ghimire (Pande)—all beloved for their work in serials—the film has naturally attracted a wide audience. Additionally, seasoned actors like Arpan Thapa, Vijay Lama, Mukunda Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, and Renu Yogi bring depth to the storytelling.
As fans speculate on a sequel, the suspense surrounding Jigri’s character has certainly made Laaj Saranam even more intriguing. Will the story continue? Only time will tell.
